Mark Walsh
Embodiment Leadership
Mark Walsh teaches embodiment, trauma education, and resilience. He’s the author of Embodiment: Working with the Body in Training and Coaching and Embodied Meditation. He also hosts The Embodiment Podcast, which has over 2 million downloads, and led The Embodiment Conference, featuring 1,000 teachers and 500,000 participants. Sensing a theme yet? Mark co-founded the Embodied Facilitator Course and developed the online Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. He has certified over 2,000 embodiment coaches and led workshops in more than 40 countries.
Despite battling alcoholism during his university years, Mark graduated with honors in psychology. He’s taught extensively in the corporate world, where he “pretended to be a grown-up” for years, working with blue-chip companies like Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, and L’Oréal. His work also extends to conflict zones, where he founded a trauma education charity in Ukraine, and he has entertained over 50,000 children. Mark has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and even kissed a princess.
A black belt in Aikido, Mark also has 28 years of experience in other martial arts, and his embodiment practice includes yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance, and meditation. Embodiment is his life’s passion and, as he jokes, by now he couldn’t do anything else.
He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his petting skills, and offends pirates with his swearing. You can find more of his work at https://embodimentunlimited.com
