Be part of our first EMBODIMENT group and help us define the concept of embodiment in the Czech Republic and support the introduction of work with this topic into all fields of human life.
The intention in the future is to organize a complete EMBODIMENT TRAINING for COACHES, TEACHERS and FACILITATORS in the Czech Republic, but which can be very useful even for the complete layman. We all have a body, or rather we are also (not only) a body.
Are you a trainer, coach, movement teacher, yogi, therapist or just a curious person who wants to expand and improve your skills in working with the body and develop your own body intelligence, which is in short supply in most people today? The body today is mainly seen as an object, a tool, a machine, an artifact, but how do we begin to see it as a fundamental and very dynamic and changing subject of our human experience?
Ask other questions .... how to deepen our conscious contact with our body and through it increase our ability to self-regulate our automatic reactions and allow ourselves full self-expression? Do you ask how to better connect with your surroundings as well and be able to guide not only yourself but others - 80% of our communication runs on a non-verbal plane and it is said that people will forget what you said to them but they will never forget how they felt with you!
Nicknamed Mr. Embodiment in the world, Mark Walsh, a renowned teacher and author of books in the field, will explain the concept of embodiment intelligence and equip you with practical tools you can use immediately in your work practice and everyday life.
The workshop will take you on a deeply personal journey into embodied practice. While there will be theory and space for questions from the mind, experiential learning is central to the training. You will also have the opportunity to get feedback directly from Mark, to strengthen your personal practice, enabling you to use embodiment more creatively and authentically in your work and everyday life.
That our thoughts and emotions affect the body, its physiology, the shape of our posture and breath, and our overall health has long been a widely accepted scientific fact. What is only now being explored, however, is that it is equally through the body, that is, the so-called somatic tools associated with it, that I can influence how I feel and what thoughts come to mind.
During this workshop you will dive deep into your own EMBODIMENT, learn to recognize your states and long term patterns and learn practical tools for everyday life.
This workshop will expand your ability to be consciously present in your body, to perceive, regulate and express your emotions and thoughts through it. It will help you better manage stress and communicate and work more effectively with your energy in any situation.
Embodiment is a word that does not yet have its equivalent in English, but it can be loosely translated as embodiment, i.e. making oneself present in the body, tuning in to the ability to perceive signals from our internal environment, also our posture, breath, myofascial tension and thus having the ability to self-regulate or, on the contrary, to allow ourselves to fully express ourselves according to our choice. We can see this as a kind of intelligence that allows us to take responsibility for our reactions and cultivate them. It is a stepping out of conceptual self-awareness, which is the storytelling of our ego, into the here-and-now presence of physical reality, that is, embodied self-awareness - "embodiment."

Embodiment Leadership
Mark Walsh teaches embodiment, trauma education, and resilience. He’s the author of Embodiment: Working with the Body in Training and Coaching and Embodied Meditation. He also hosts The Embodiment Podcast, which has over 2 million downloads, and led The Embodiment Conference, featuring 1,000 teachers and 500,000 participants. Sensing a theme yet? Mark co-founded the Embodied Facilitator Course and developed the online Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. He has certified over 2,000 embodiment coaches and led workshops in more than 40 countries. Despite battling alcoholism during his university years, Mark graduated with honors in psychology. He’s taught extensively in the corporate world, where he “pretended to be a grown-up” for years, working with blue-chip companies like Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, and L’Oréal. His work also extends to conflict zones, where he founded a trauma education charity in Ukraine, and he has entertained over 50,000 children. Mark has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and even kissed a princess. A black belt in Aikido, Mark also has 28 years of experience in other martial arts, and his embodiment practice includes yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance, and meditation. Embodiment is his life’s passion and, as he jokes, by now he couldn’t do anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his petting skills, and offends pirates with his swearing. You can find more of his work at https://embodimentunlimited.com
